Dorking composer making momentous music appears in sought-after TV slot

Dorking composer and classical musician Adrian Brockless appears on the hit BBC show Dragon’s Den this Sunday (September 1 at 8pm) seeking backing for a bespoke music service he has set up to help people mark important moments in their lives.

In Dragon’s Den Adrian is seen at the piano accompanying a professional soprano (Emily Armour) and violinist (Victoria Barnes) performing his setting of the poem ‘Leisure’ by W.H. Davies, famous for its opening lines: “What is this life if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare.”

“It was nerve wracking at the start, but the performance went without a hitch” he said last night. “It was a tremendous opportunity to meet some of the best business brains in Britain.”
